Memorization Monday - Hebrews 2:3

Hebrews 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him?

That's a good question isn't it. Since Jesus is greater than angels, we are to pay close attention to what He says otherwise we may drift away. If we do neglect what Jesus says, the writer asks the question in our verse today. Jesus Christ came to bring salvation. If we neglect that way of salvation and think that we are going to find something somewhere else, we are gravely mistaken. The question is serious, "How shall we escape?"  It's worth thinking about and acting on. Let's not be guilty of neglecting what God has so graciously provided.
